Panama: Weather was great, safe to walk around past midnight, food was good, and people were awesome. The food prices and cost of living seem to be comparable to the US; this was surprising. Another thing that I've also noticed about Panama is that the roads and other infrastructures seems on par with other third world countries. Without much regulations, tributaries and open waterways are polluted , seemed toxic, and ripen. Unfortunately , the surrounding beaches suffered the same fate. It's too bad because Panama City has the potential to be better. I did not get a chance to visit the Panama Canal since I stayed in and around Panama city and Old Panama city.
